Pilates with Laura Colgate - OmCore Pilates & Yoga

 Thursdays 10 - 10.55am 

This dynamic class blends classical and contemporary Pilates mat exercises and provides a holistic approach to fitness, benefiting both the mind and body.  You'll be guided through mindful, controlled, and precise movements to strengthen your core, improve your posture and enhance your body awareness.  With consistent practice, you'll realign and rebalance the body, creating an optimal combination of strenth and flexibility.  

The small and welcoming classed are suitable for beginners and those with experience of Pilates; modifications and variations are provided to suit individual needs.

Laura has helping people to move better and feel better since 2009.  She is a BASI Pilates Certified Teacher, internationally accredited Yoga Teacher and qualified personal trainer.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.  We are united by a common problem - alcohol.  Through meetings and talking with other alcoholics, we are somehow able to stay sober.  We lose the compulsion to drink, which was once the dominant force in our lives.  Several meetings a week are held at The Printworks.  For more information see or telephone 0800 9177 650 or email

Meditation Group with Veronica

Friendly and empowering group meditation sessions that will leave you feeling relaxed, confident and full of motivation.

The sessions will be a combination of guided visualisations, breathing techniques, tips on self-development and time for self-reflection, sharing insights and asking questions.  

Veronica is a qualified Energy Healer, Counsellor and Life and Career Coach, who will help you unleash your inner wisdom and inner power.

Fun, supportive Yoga classes.  Flowing Yoga sequences focussing on the breath.  A mixture of strength-building and relaxation.  Gemma has been practicing Yoga for 20 years and is passionate to share the practice with others.  Beginners and advanced practitioners are welcome.

Tamar Valley Tai Chi - Adam Benjamin

Tai Chi promotes well-being and balance through a gentle, flowing, yet powerful movement and the development of an inner sense of tranquility. Adam is a senior instructor with Tai Chi Union of Great Britain. In the class there is an emphasis on breath and postural alignment.  He teaches with humour and attention to individual needs and classes are open to everyone, regardless of age or experience. 

Adam teaches a short form based on the Beijing style of the late Rose Shao-Chiang Li and incorporates elements and influences from a variety of styles and teachers.

Mindful movement, Gentle Yoga, Breath Awareness and Relaxation taught by an experienced and mature teacher.

Classes are open to all ages and genders but particularly suited to over 50s, beginners and those who prefer a gentler form of yoga. There is a spiritual element to the classes and a focus on cultivating greater self-awareness.  It is an opportunity to find that still point within ourselves.

Classes are a fusion of Qi Gong type movements and traditional Hatha Yoga asanas.  Joints are kept soft as in Qi Gong and asanas are combined into gentle flowing sequences, with an awareness of breath.  Our welcoming and friendly classes start with active warm-ups and end with deep relaxation.
